Centre of Cognition and Emotion Research

This is a major five year research program within the Centre for the Heart and Mind that examines the key psychosocial, cognitive and self-care factors that affect the health and wellbeing of patients with heart failure and their partners.
A key project within this program is “Prospective memory training to improve heart failure self-care: A feasibility study.” In partnership with the Cognition and Emotion Research Centre this project aims to examine whether Prospective Memory can be improved in heart failure patients through a brain training program.
